How to enable Teams “request control” feature for external users

Many companies prefer to provide end-user support using Teams instead of 3rd party remote desktop programs. “request/give control” function is one of the most important points of this process.

So, how can we activate it?

Sign in to the Teams Admin Center at admin.teams.microsoft.com. Then access to Content Sharing settings by following the menus below.

Meetings>>Meeting Policies>>Global (Organization wide)

Here, set “Allow an external participant to give or request control” to “On”. You can now give control of your screen during your sessions with external users.
